Engage Here hosted a series of free afternoon creative sessions at Peer for children and their carers. In these creative workshops, participants were invited and guided to work with materials such as clay, stencils, paint, drawing, sound, and print.‍‍

‍

‍Engage Here is a Hackney-based organisation that engages people living with neurodiversity and cognitive impairment through the arts. They conduct collaborative and contemporary art workshops in residential homes, nursing homes, community settings, art spaces and day centres.

The sessions are inspired by the themes of repair, recovery and reset using recyclable materials and collage materials to make new works and transform the gallery space. These creative sessions are part of our upcoming research and events programme, Revision. This project aims to generate new approaches to how we work and live together more sustainably through conversation with our communities.‍‍

This event is part of Revision, a research and events programme that explored repair, collaboration and evaluation from 16 November 2022 - 1 February 2023.
